Updated: Mar 16, 2021

Irrespective of what sector you work in, chances are that your clients will be casting a much more critical eye over your offering given the uncertainty caused by Covid. Mediocrity is out, excellence is in.

Fortunately, excellence is well within all our grasp; we all have the capacity to be great. Contact me today to discover how to be the best version of yourself.

The concept “mundanity of excellence” comes from research by the American sociologist, Daniel Chambliss. He concluded that superlative performance is really a confluence of many small skills or activities, which have been drilled into habit and then are fitted together in a synthesised whole.

There is nothing extraordinary in any one of those actions; only the fact that they are done consistently and correctly, and all together, produce excellence.

Not really rocket science is it? But let’s be honest, the discipline to do many small things correctly every time is not easy. But it is much more attainable than having a non-existent super power.

We all think we are incapable of some desired achievement – whether it's big or small. It is human nature. While there are probably some things that require some extraordinary skill, most things we might wish to excel at are within our grasp. We just need to have the mundanity of excellence.

Contact me today to discover how working with me can help you achieve the discipline and self-confidence to be the most excellent version of yourself.
